Two principals, one discipline
Partner
Jean-Michel Germing
Jean-Michel held senior positions in international engineering and consulting before founding his own management consultancy and architecture firm. He holds a business administration degree from the University of St. Gallen (1987), with a major in tourism.
He sits on the boards of several international companies and is based in Thailand.
Partner
Dr. Markus A. Frey
Markus earned his doctorate from the University of Zurich (1985) and was admitted to the Zurich Bar in 1987. He holds an LL.M. from the University of Miami School of Law (1988) and is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He also serves as Honorary Consul General of Thailand in Zurich.
His work spans private equity transactions, commercial law, international estate planning, trusts and estates, and family-office services.
What We Do
Resorts, created from the ground up
We create resort businesses and acquire nearby land for long-term appreciation. Our work covers the full development path: site selection, product creation, management selection, financial analysis, strategy, and landscaping.
Each project is shaped for the affluent traveller in Asia, with a lasting view on the land around it.
How We Do It
Aligned with the best operators
We partner with globally branded management companies and best-in-class teams. Our investment professionals work alongside resort operators on full business plans, following the United Nations recommendations on sustainable tourism.
Partners typically hold a cumulative equity stake of 40 percent or more, which keeps incentives aligned through the life of a project.
